In addition to taking the wraps off of the new OnePlus 7T Pro and McLaren Edition phones, OnePlus today had some good news to share for owners of its older devices.
OnePlus has confirmed that it will roll out Android 10 updates to phones all the way back to the OnePlus 5. That means the OnePlus 6T, OnePlus 6, OnePlus 5T, and OnePlus 5 will all receive updates to Google's latest OS, just like the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro recently did.
The Android 10 updates for the OnePlus 6T and OnePlus 6 will be available in open beta starting this month and will roll out to the public in November 2019. OnePlus 5T and OnePlus 5 owners can expect to get their helping of Android 10 in Q2 2020.
When it updated the OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro to Android 10, OnePlus included features like a brand new UI design, Android 10 gesture navigation, a new Game Space feature that groups all your games into one place for easier access, and the ability to block spam by keywords in the Messages app.
