ASUS ROG Phone II Ultimate Edition upgrades include 1TB of storage

ASUS introduced its ROG Phone II a couple of months ago, showing off a gaming phone with a Snapdragon 855 Plus, 6.59-inch display with 120Hz refresh rate, and 12GB of RAM. It's already a pretty high-end phone, but this week ASUS has kicked it up a notch.

The ASUS ROG Phone II Ultimate Edition features a new matte black color and upgraded specs. Those include 1TB of built-in UFS 3.0 storage, up from the 512GB included with the standard ROG Phone II. ASUS is also packing in faster Cat 20 4G LTE download speeds of up to 2Gbps.

The rest of the ROG Phone II Ultimate Edition's specs are similar to the standard ROG Phone II. That means it's got a 2.96GHz octa-core Snapdragon 855 Plus processor, 6.59-inch 2340x1080 AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, dual rear cameras including a 48MP main sensor and 13MP wide angle camera, dual front speakers, and a 6000mAh battery with fast charging support.

The ROG Phone II is launching this month, but if you want the Ultimate Edition, you'll have to wait until October. It'll also carry a premium price of €1,199 ($1,322 USD) over the €899 ($991 USD) price of the standard ROG Phone II.
