Samsung taking Galaxy Note 10 reservations, offering up to $600 for trade-ins

That Galaxy Note 10 won't be announced for another couple of weeks, but Samsung is launching a trade-in deal and accepting reservations for its new flagship right now.

Samsung is offering up to $600 trade-in value for various flagship smartphones that you can put toward a new Galaxy Note 10. The website currently lists values for phones from Samsung, Apple, and Google, offering between $200 and $600 for the devices:

Samsung

  • Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, Galaxy S10e, Galaxy Note 9

$300

  • Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+, Galaxy Note 8

$200

  • Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+, Galaxy S8 Active, Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 edge, Galaxy S7 Active

Apple

Google

  • Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL

$300

  • Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL

Samsung says that customers who reserve a Galaxy Note 10 will get early access to pre-order, helping them to get the new flagship before everyone else. Plus, Samsung will give you a $50 instant credit for accessories when you pre-order your new Note 10.

There are some decent trade-in values to be had with Samsung's offer, like getting $600 for a Pixel 3, which is exactly how much Google is asking for a new Pixel 3 now. Getting $350 for a three-year-old iPhone 7 and $250 for a four-year-old aren't bad offers, either.

Samsung will officially introduce the Galaxy Note 10 on August 7, and it's likely that the new hardware will be released within two or three weeks after the announcement.
