Motorola leak shows company's first phone with a triple rear camera setup

Multi-camera setups are common on smartphones nowadays, with many devices even offering triple or quad cameras on their backsides. A new leak shows that Motorola will soon launch its first phone with three rear cameras.

New factory CAD-based renders show an unannounced Motorola smartphone with three cameras and a Moto-branded fingerprint reader on its backside. According to Pricebaba and OnLeaks, there will be 12MP snappers and a dual LED flash included in that triple camera setup.

Around front there's another camera living in a hole-punch and a Motorola-branded chin below the screen. The display is said to be a 6.2-inch HD+ panel. There's a USB-C port on the bottom of this device, and up top lives a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Details on this device's name, launch date, and pricing information are still pretty light. It was previously thought that this could be the Moto G8, but now it's been speculated that this could be the follow-up to last year's Motorola One Power, which is plausible since they share a similar design. By ditching the notch for a hole-punch and adding a third rear camera, though, this leaked Motorola phone looks like quite an improvement over the Motorola One Power.
