Samsung Chromebook Plus LTE is now available with 4G and built-in stylus

Samsung and Verizon are teaming up to release a new 4G LTE-enabled Chromebook.

The Samsung Chromebook Plus LTE is now available. You can buy from Verizon for $249.99 per month for 24 months, $499.99 with a two-year contract, or $599.99 without a commitment, and Best Buy offers similar pricing. Samsung is selling the Chromebook Plus LTE, too, at $50 per month with no interest if paid in 12 months or $599.99 full retail.

The Chromebook Plus LTE offers a 2-in-1 design, letting you use it like a traditional laptop when you want a keyboard and then fold the keyboard around back and use the device like a tablet when you want that experience. Also included is a built-in stylus that you don't need to charge.

Samsung has equipped its Chromebook Plus LTE with an Intel Celeron 3965Y processor and paired it with 4GB of RAM, 32GB of built-in storage, and a microSD slot if you'd like to add more storage. The display is a 12.2-inch LED panel with a resolution of 1920x1200, and there's a rear 13MP camera and front 1MP camera for your photo-taking and video-calling needs. There are also two USB-C ports and one USB-A port on the device.

Having a laptop with built-in LTE can be handy for keeping you connected on the go. It means that you don't have to worry about hunting down a Wi-Fi signal when you need to get something done, and you also don't have to kill your smartphone's battery by using it as a mobile hotspot.
