iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR RAM and battery sizes revealed

When it announced the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR, Apple was happy to share many of the spec details of their new phones, including camera features as well as screen size and resolution. There are a couple of details Apple left out, but now that info has been revealed as well.

Information on the RAM and battery sizes of the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max has been revealed by TENAA, which is like China's version of the FCC. According to TENAA, filings, the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max both have 4GB of RAM, up from the 3GB of RAM found on the iPhone X. The iPhone XR is equipped with 3GB of RAM.

Meanwhile, the iPhone XS has a 2658mAh battery and the iPhone XS Max has a 3174mAh battery, the latter of which is the largest battery in any iPhone. To compare, the iPhone X has a 2,716mAh battery. The iPhone XR's battery measures in at 2942mAh.

Apple doesn't typically get into nitty-gritty tech specs like RAM and battery size, so it's no surprise that the company hasn't announced that info for its new iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR. It's nice to get that kind of info to learn more about how improved the new iPhones are over the previous models, though, and to get a better idea of what makes Apple's new flagships tick.
