OxygenOS 5.1.9 update for OnePlus 6 brings camera improvements, bug fixes, and more

OnePlus has a new OxygenOS update for its flagship OnePlus 6 smartphone.

OxygenOS 5.1.9 is now rolling out to OnePlus 6 devices. This update brings with it a lot of improvements, including the July 2018 Android security patches and fixes for accidental touches triggering gestures. There are some camera improvements in there, too, like better image quality and integrated Google Lens, which can give you info about books, buildings, and more when you scan them.

Wireless & networks

  • Optimized stability for Wi-Fi connection
  • Fixed stability issue with the Bluetooth connection for cars

The update is now rolling out over the air. It's going out incrementally, which means that it might take a few days to appear on your OnePlus 6.

This looks like a great update for OnePlus 6 owners. Not only is it great to see new security patches, but camera improvements are also awesome, especially since many people rely on their smartphone camera for all of their photo-taking needs.
