We've seen quite a few smartphone discounts as the holiday shopping season reaches a frenzy, and now Google is getting in on the action, too.
Google is now discounting the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL in the Google Store. The Pixel 2 is $50 off while the Pixel 2 XL is $75 off. That means the 64GB Pixel 2 is $599 and the 128GB model is $699, while the 64GB Pixel 2 XL is $774 and the 128GB Pixel 2 XL is $874.
Also of note is that you can get up to $435 in trade-in credits for a Pixel 2 or Pixel 2 XL when you trade in your phone to Google. Plus, you can get a free Google Home Mini when buying either new Pixel phone.
These aren't the deepest Pixel 2 or Pixel 2 XL discounts we've ever seen — Verizon is offering $300 off either phone when you buy with device payments — but these Pixel discounts from Google are still notable. Not only are they coming straight from Google, they're applied instantly rather than making you wait for monthly credits or anything like that.
