Huawei Mate 10 Lite leak offers up images and spec details

One day after an image of the Huawei Mate 10 leaked out, details on one of the Mate 10’s variants have surfaced.

The device you see above is the Huawei Mate 10 Lite, says VentureBeat. It’s reportedly got a 5.9-inch 2160x1080 display with an 18:9 aspect ratio with some slim bezels and a full metal unibody shell.

Perhaps the most notable feature of the Mate 10 Lite is that it’s got four cameras. Around back there’s a regular 16-megapixel camera and secondary 2-megapixel camera, and on the front there are 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel cameras. The front-facing cameras are said to offer a two-person bokeh effect thanks to the dual camera setup.

Other rumored features of the Mate 10 Lite include an octa-core Kirin 659 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, rear fingerprint reader, and a 3,340mAh battery. On the software side, we’re told to expect Android Oreo running below Huawei’s custom EMUI 5.1 user interface.

The Huawei Mate 10 Lite will reportedly make its official debut on October 16 and will be priced at €379 ($455 USD).

If these rumored features hold true, the Mate 10 Lite could be a solid upper mid-range Android smartphone. While its bezels aren’t quite as slim as some Android flagships, they are pretty thin, allowing Huawei to pack a large, high-res display into a smaller body.
