Moto X4 specs leak, rumored to include aluminum body and dual rear cameras

It’s rumored that the Moto X4 will include support for Project Fi when it launches later this year, and now some more features of the upcoming Moto device have leaked.

The Moto X4 will reportedly run Android 7.1 on a 5.2-inch 1920x1080 display on its face with a 16-megapixel camera above it for your selfie needs. Below that screen will be a fingerprint reader that’ll let you unlock the Moto X4 as well as perform simple gestures similar to on-screen navigation buttons.

Also expected to be included with the Moto X4 is a dual rear camera setup with 8-megapixel and 12-megapixel sensors, an octa-core Snapdragon 630 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage with a microSD slot for adding more storage if you need it. The whole package is rumored to be powered by a 3000mAh battery, and it’s said to be IP68 rated for dust and water resistance.

While the Moto X series has been replaced as Motorola’s flagship phones by the Moto Z series, the Moto X4 could still be an interesting device. With its rumored aluminum body, it could offer a premium feel for a more affordable price. Plus, it’s expected to be coming to Project Fi, which means it could be a nice option for folks that want to try Fi but also want something cheaper than Google’s Pixel flagships.

Are you looking forward to the Moto X4?
