Here's where you can get $100 discount on unlocked Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+

The Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ were two devices Samsung announced early this year. Shortly after its unveiling, the devices became on sale for those in the US. Today, however, Samsung has announced that more retailers will be offering unlocked versions of these devices. And the best part about this big reveal is that they come with a $100 discount.

The Galaxy S8 comes with a 5.8-inch Super AMOLED display with edge-to-edge Infinity Display technology. From within, the phone runs on a 2.35GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of onboard storage, and 256GB microSD card memory expansion. It has a 3,000 mAh Li-Ion battery behind it.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy S8+ comes with a larger 6.2-inch Super AMOLED display. It runs on a 2.45GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with 4GB of RAM, 64GB onboard storage, and up to 256GB memory expansion via a microSD card. The phone carries a larger 3,500 mAh Li-Ion battery with built-in wireless charging.

Both the S8 and S8+ have a 12-megapixel camera on the back with f/1.7 aperture, LED flash, OIS, and 4K video recording. In front, an 8-megapixel camera is available to capture selfies. Other features found on both devices include a fingerprint sensor, NFC, and a rugged frame. Upon release, each phone runs on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat OS.

Currently, you can pick up an unlocked Samsung Galaxy S8 64GB for $624.99 from Best Buy and B&H. If you're planning to get the Galaxy S8+, you would have to pay $724.99 for an unlocked model. Comparing these prices with most carriers, you'd expect to pay $756 for the S8 and $850 for the S8+.

As of this writing, Amazon and Target haven't announced the prices they offer for the Galaxy S8 and S8+ but they would roughly be similar to the prices offered by Best Buy and B&H. Best Buy, however, is offering these prices for around a week's time.
