After debuting the new Surface Laptop earlier this month, Microsoft has an event scheduled for May 23rd at which it’s expected to debut another new piece of kit.
The new Surface Pro is reportedly coming next week, but images of the device are leaking out now thanks to VentureBeat. The device looks largely similar to the Surface Pro 4 that debuted near the end of 2015, complete with a silver body and a built-in kickstand. The changes here are expected to be internal.
Other images included in this leak show off the stylus in four colors as well as a couple of peeks at the new Surface Pro’s detachable keyboard, which will also be available in four colors.
While this new Surface Pro may not be the most exciting update since the exterior looks similar to the Surface Pro 4, it’ll be good to have a new model with updated internals after a year and a half with the SP4. Now we just have to wait for Microsoft’s May 23 event to find out exactly what those updated internals are. Thankfully, that event is less than a week away. Stay tuned.
