After launching a new 2GB prepaid plan back in February, Verizon today added another new prepaid plan at the other end of the data spectrum.
Verizon today added an unlimited high-speed data plan to its prepaid lineup. Priced at $80 per month, the plan includes unlimited talk, text, and high-speed data in the US as well as unlimited text from the US to more than 200 countries and unlimited talk to Mexico and Canada.
Other details worth mentioning are that with this $80 unlimited prepaid plan, video streams are limited to 480p resolution and there is no mobile hotspot included. Verizon also notes that it may deprioritize your data during times of network congestion. Those rules are worth keeping in mind if you’re considering this new plan, but if what you’re seeking is a prepaid plan with unlimited data, at least Verizon now has an option for you.
