Amazon Music Unlimited launches family plan for $14.99 per month

Amazon promised last month that a family version of its Music Unlimited streaming service was coming soon, and now it’s available.

Amazon is now offering a Music Unlimited Family subscription in the US. Pricing is set at $14.99 per month for $149 per year, but the latter option is only available to Prime members.

With an Amazon Music Unlimited Family subscription, you can have up to six family members streaming music. That includes access to the entire Amazon Music Unlimited catalog that’s tens of millions deep and personalized recommendations.

In addition to this family subscription, Amazon Music Unlimited offers single user subscriptions at a price of $7.99 per month or $79 per year for Prime subscribers. Non-Prime users will pay $9.99 per month.

Most other major music streaming services have family plans, including the likes of Apple Music and Spotify, and so it’s important for Amazon Music Unlimited to have a family plan if it wants to compete. Now it does, and you can even score a discount if you’re a Prime member and you sign up for a full year of service.

Amazon Music Unlimited does offer a 30-day free trial if you’re interested in taking the service for a spin before paying.
