AT&T launches Cuba roaming and reveals pricing

After announcing its Cuba roaming agreement in August, AT&T today officially began offering roaming in Cuba.

AT&T customers can now make and receive calls and texts and use data while in Cuba. Calls will cost $3 per minute, while SMS messages will cost $0.50 each and MMS messages will be $1.30 apiece. Data will cost $2.05 per megabyte.

With Cuba roaming, AT&T customers can travel to Cuba and use their same phone and phone number. Roaming in Cuba isn’t cheap, but for AT&T customers that want the convenience of using their same phone and number while in Cuba, at least roaming is now an option.
