ZTE Warp 7 launches at Boost Mobile with 5.5-inch display, $99.99 price tag

ZTE and Boost Mobile have teamed up to launch several Warp phones over the years, starting with the original ZTE Warp in 2011 and continuing through to the ZTE Warp Elite last year. Today they’re adding another member to the Warp family.

The ZTE Warp 7 is available starting today, Aug. 30, from Boost Mobile’s online store for $99.99. If you prefer a brick-and-mortar shopping experience, you’ll be able to get a Warp 7 from Boost Mobile stores starting Sept. 5.

ZTE’s Warp 7 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow on a 5.5-inch 1280x720 display. It’s also got a 5-megapixel camera on its face, and around back there’s a 13-megapixel camera.

Inside of the Warp 7’s shell is a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, a microSD slot for adding more storage, and a 3,080mAh battery.

The Warp 7 carries over some of the specs found in last year’s Warp Elite, but it’s got an updated design with curvier edges that should help to make it more comfortable to hold. It’s also launching at a lower price, with the Warp 7 starting at $99.99 while the Warp Elite hit shelves at $179.99.
