Chick-Fil-A will begin accepting Apple Pay and Android Pay on Aug. 19

Since the launches of Apple Pay and Android Pay, we’ve seen more and more restaurants and retailers adopting NFC mobile payments. Today another major company announced that it’ll soon begin support Apple and Google’s services.

Chick-Fil-A says that it’ll begin accepting Apple Pay and Android Pay this Friday, August 19. That’s according to the company’s official Twitter account, who sent out a tweet earlier today affirming that customers will be able to use both Apple Pay and Android Pay both in the restaurant and in the drive thru.

Chick-Fil-A announced back in February 2016 that it would begin gradually rolling out Apple Pay at its stores, with support for the feature expected chain-wide by late 2016. We didn’t hear much about Chick-Fil-A’s rollout in the following months, but it looks like mobile payment fans should be able to use Apple Pay and Android Pay while buying their chicken sandwiches and waffle fries starting this Friday.

How often do you pay for things with a service like Apple Pay, Android Pay, or Samsung Pay?
