Nextbit Robin drops to $299.99 on Amazon

If you missed the Nextbit Robin sale last month when it was $299.99, you’ve now gotten a second chance.

Amazon is selling the Nextbit Robin for $299.99, which is $100 off its regular asking price. This price will be good for the next two weeks. The sale applies to both colors, Mint and Midnight, and the Robin ships from and is sold by Amazon, so it qualifies for free two-day shipping if you’re an Amazon Prime member.

This is a pretty good deal on the Robin, matching the early bird Kickstarter pricing that was only available to the first backers of the phone last year. The Robin has a solid spec list that includes a 5.2-inch 1920x1080 display, 3GB of RAM, 13-megapixel camera, fingerprint reader, and dual front speakers. The Robin also comes with 32GB of built-in storage as well as 100GB of cloud storage that can back up apps and photos that you haven’t used in a while. When you decide that you want something that’s in the cloud, Robin can quickly pull it down onto your phone.

Also of note is that the Nextbit Robin was recently updated to Android 6.0.1, an upgrade that also included battery life and performance improvements. The camera was improved, too, with an overhauled app and better performance.
