After their official announcement back in January, the Huawei Watch Jewel and Elegant models are launching today in the US.
The Huawei Watch Jewel (above left) and Elegant (above right) will be available for purchase today from the Google Store as well as Amazon, Best Buy, B&H Photo Video, and Newegg. Pricing is normally set at $599.99 for the Jewel and $499.99 for the Elegant, but both models are currently on sale for $50 off, bringing their prices down to $549.99 and $449.99, respectively.
In terms of specs, these Huawei Watch Jewel and Elegant models are largely similar to the Huawei Watch that launched last year. They’ve both got 1.4-inch 400x400 round AMOLED displays, Snapdragon 400 processors, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of storage, and 300mAh batteries.
The most notable difference with the Jewel and Elegant is that they have rose gold-plated bodies, and the Jewel is also decked out in 68 Swarovski Zirconia crystals. They’ve also got slightly curved watch bodies and come with unique leather bands. Both models also come with 10 watch faces not included with the standard Huawei Watch.
Google’s Huawei Watch Jewel and Elegant product page says that the $50 discount that’s currently being applied to the two models will last through May 9. So if a rose gold-plated smartwatch sounds like just the thing you need on your wrist, you may want to pick one of those smartwatches up soon.
