Verizon confirms that $650 ETF payoff, Galaxy S7 BOGO promos are over

Heads up, Verizon customers, because some notable VZW promos have officially come to an end.

Verizon has confirmed that its $650 ETF payoff promotion that started at the tail-end of December is now over. With this promo, Verizon said that it’d pay up to $650 to cover the cost of switching to its network, including any ETFs or device payments that you might have left over.

Verizon’s Galaxy S7 and S7 edge BOGO promo has come to an end as well. This deal launched in March and offered a free Galaxy S7 or S7 edge after you bought one. A similar offer on DROID devices, which offered half off one DROID when you bought one, has also been killed off.

Both the $650 ETF payoff and Galaxy S7 BOGO offers were nice deals on Verizon, so it’s disappointing to see them come to an end. Despite them coming to an end, Verizon isn’t totally out of promos, as it recently kicked off a “national trade-in event.” With this promo, Verizon will give you up to $300 in the form of account credit or gift card when you trade in a device. To get the full $300 trade-in value, you’ll need to trade in a DROID Turbo, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 edge, Galaxy S6 edge+, HTC One M9, LG G4, LG V10, iPhone 6, or iPhone 6 Plus.

Verizon also recently launched an Android Pay promo that’ll give you 2GB of data when you make three in-store purchases with Android Pay.
