BlackBerry Exec Teases Upcoming Marshmallow Beta Test for the Priv on April Fools' Day

Considering it's April Fools' Day, many people throughout the world are dubious to believe anything they read about online. With so many posts out there that are really just a joke, it's difficult to determine which information you should believe in.

Taking this into consideration, BlackBerry's director of Handheld Software Product Management, Michael Clewley, briefly hinted about the idea of a BlackBerry Priv Android 6.0 Marshmallow beta update on his personal Twitter account. On his post, Clewley mentioned that he worries people wouldn't believe him if he would talk about the Marshmallow beta release today. Instead, Clewley is waiting until next week to release more information about the beta update.

Prior to Clewley's post on Twitter, the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for the Priv was initially set for release in May. With his post, however, it could be in for an early release. Guess we'll just have to wait until next week to learn more about the beta update for the Priv.
