Just days ahead of the Galaxy S7’s official launch, Samsung has dropped word about the pre-order performance of its new flagship.
Samsung has received stronger-than-expected pre-orders for the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, says Dongjin Koh, president of Samsung’s mobile business. However, Koh didn’t reveal specific numbers regarding Galaxy S7 or S7 edge pre-orders.
Recent reports have suggested that Galaxy S7 pre-orders are falling short of the Galaxy S6. While Koh’s statement doesn’t really confirm or deny that report, it does imply that Samsung’s new flagship Android phones are off to a solid start. Samsung’s new flagships have also gotten pretty positive early reviews. Now we just have to wait and see how well they sell once they’re on store shelves.
