Remember when Samsung announced the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge and it said that early buyers would get a free Gear VR and six games? Well if you did treat yourself to a new Galaxy S7 or S7 edge, you can now claim your rewards.
Samsung’s Gear VR Offer page is now live, meaning that you can submit all of the info necessary to get your gifts. You’ll first need to tell Samsung where you bought your Galaxy S7 or S7 edge, then enter your email. You’ll then need to submit your personal info, including your name, address, phone number, and the phone you purchased, and you need to be sure that the name on your purchase receipt and your claim form match. You’ll also need to submit your device’s IMEI and Wi-Fi Mac Address, as well as either a photograph or PDF of your original receipt.
From there, Verizon customers will have a decision to make. They can either get a free Gear VR and six-pack of games, or they can take a Samsung Gear S2 in a color that’ll be selected by Samsung. Everyone else will get a Gear VR and pack of games — to be delivered in 4-6 weeks — and T-Mobile customers will also get a code for a free year of Netflix.
Samsung says that offer claims must be submitted by 11:59 pm ET on March 31, which means that you’ve got a few weeks to claim your gifts. Since submissions are being accepted now, though, you might as well claim your rewards as soon as you can so that get your Gear VR (or Gear S2, if you’re on Verizon) as soon as possible.
