Samsung Pay gains support for 19 new MasterCard and Visa card issuers

Samsung Pay is growing once again today, with the mobile payment service gaining support for 19 new MasterCard and Visa issuers. Samsung highlights the arrival of PNC Visa credit and debit cards as well as KeyBank MasterCard credit and debit cards, but there are several other new issuers also joining Samsung Pay today. These other new issuers include:

  • MasterCard: Achieva Credit Union, Associated Bank, Bayport Credit Union, Bethpage Federal Credit Union, Cambridge Savings Bank, USC Credit Union, and Navy Federal Credit Union
  • Visa: TCF Bank, Central Florida Educators Federal Credit Union, Financial Center Federal Credit Union, Greater Kinston Federal Credit Union, Keypoint Credit Union, Numerica Credit Union, Utah Community Credit Union, Amegy Bank National Association, California Bank and Trust and Pentagon Federal Credit Union

Samsung has done a lot of work to improve Samsung Pay ever since the service launched in September. Not only has it added new card issuers, including support for Chase cards along with today’s expansions, but Samsung Pay also gained support for 50 gift card merchants as well. Combine these additions with the promos that Samsung has been running, and you can tell that the company is extremely committed to improving Samsung Pay and making it a success.
