T-Mobile Un-carrier X might let you stream video without using your data

UPDATE: Blass adds that Un-carrier X may just let you stream unlimited video on 4G without using your LTE data first.

ORIGINAL: What does T-Mobile have up its sleeve for Un-carrier X? It might be similar to Music Freedom, but for video.

Evan Blass reports that T-Mobile’s Un-carrier X move will enable unlimited high-speed data streaming of video services such as Netflix and HBO. That sounds like Music Freedom, which lets you stream from many music services without using up your high-speed data allotment.

T-Mobile has often touted its network as being “designed data-strong,” saying that it has more cell sites and more network capacity per customer than any other nationwide carrier. That “data-strong” network will certainly come in handy if T-Mobile customers are allowed to stream Netflix all day without consequence. T-Mobile’s official Un-carrier X announcement will happen on November 10, so we’ll have to wait and see exactly how T-Mo will implement this unlimited video streaming feature.
