OnePlus OxygenOS 2.1.0 update adds manual mode to camera and more

Heads up, OnePlus 2 owners, because a notable OxygenOS update is now rolling out.

OnePlus today announced OxygenOS 2.1.0, an update that includes new features and bug fixes. Perhaps the most notable addition is manual mode for the camera, which will give you more control over your shots if you’re into that sort of thing. Another camera goodies that’s included with this update is RAW support for third-party camera apps.

There are some non-camera-related features in OxygenOS 2.1.0, too. There’s a new color balance slider in the Display settings, Exchange support, and some telephony service tweaks to eliminate lag when turning airplane mode on and off. Finally, OnePlus has taken care of “some issues that were causing problems with popular 3rd party apps.”

This update will hit a handful of users today, and so long as everything goes smoothly, a larger rollout will begin on September 22. The manual camera mode is a huge addition to OxygenOS, but even if you’re more of a full auto person, this update is noteworthy because it adds Exchange support and it ought to fix whatever “popular 3rd party apps” were having issues with OnePlus’s custom UI.
