Verizon customers, you’ve now got XLTE coverage in six new markets peppered across the US. Verizon pinged me today to say that its XLTE service is now live in the following six markets:
- Carlsbad-Artesia, N.M.
- Coos Bay-North Bend, Ore.
- Corbin, Ky.
- Jackson, Miss.
- Selma, Ala.
- Stevens Point-Marshfield, Wisc.
With the new XLTE coverage, Verizon customers in these six markets should get double the LTE bandwidth and higher peak data speeds so long as they’re using an XLTE-compatible device. That includes 39 phones in Verizon’s current lineup, such as the DROID Turbo, LG G4, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 5c, Galaxy S6, HTC One M9, Galaxy S5, Nexus 6, and BlackBerry Classic.
