OnePlus 2 leaks continue with purported video appearance

Just a few days ago, we got an early peek at the design of the OnePlus 2 thanks to a Chinese certification agency, and now a video showing the device in action has surfaced too.

A video posted to YouTube claims to show the OnePlus 2 being put to an AnTuTu benchmark test. The device is running Android 5.1.1 beneath H2OS, aka Hydrogen OS, which is OnePlus’s version of its OxygenOS ROM for China with Google apps stripped out. The phone is also listed with a 1920x1080 display resolution — the same as the OnePlus One — and 16GB of storage.

While the video itself isn’t terribly high-quality, there are instances in which we can see a fingerprint sensor like the one spotted in the OnePlus 2 image leak from earlier this week. As for the benchmark, the OnePlus 2 scores a 49221 in the AnTuTu test.

It’s nice to get another early peek at the OnePlus 2 before its official unveiling, but it’d probably be wise to wait until the phone is actually announced and used by the public before making any final judgments about its performance. The good news is that with the phone’s July 27 reveal just a couple of days out, it won’t be long before we get a good, clear look at OnePlus’s next flagship Android phone.
