Nexus 6 price cut to $399 for Amazon Prime Day [UPDATED]

UPDATE: Unsurprisingly, that deal didn't last long, with 100 percent of the stock getting snapped up within minutes of the deal going live.

Amazon Prime Day hasn’t yielded many spectacular deals yet, but right now there is one nice offer that you might want to check out.

The Nexus 6 is being sold by Amazon for $399, a full $100 less than the sale price that's been available since early June. You can get the 32GB Nexus 6 in Midnight Blue for $399. Unfortunately, it looks like the 32GB Cloud White version is still $499, while the 64GB models are still $549.

While the Nexus 6 is likely going to be replaced in the coming months by new Nexus phones from LG and Huawei, the Motorola-made N6 is still a solid device with a high-res 2560x1440 display, 3GB of RAM, and a 3220mAh battery. And since it’s a Nexus phone, you’ll get Android updates direct from Google faster that’ll come faster than they will for most other Android devices.

Are you going to jump on this Nexus 6 deal?
