QMobile A1 is the newest Android One smartphone

Google said last month that it’s still committed to Android One despite the program’s early issues, and today the company put its money where its mouth is by introducing a new Android One handset.

The QMobile A1 is the newest Android One smartphone, and with it comes a new country where Android One is available: Pakistan. Launching today at a price of 11,500 Pakistani rupees ($110 USD), the QMobile A1 offers a 4.5-inch 854x480 display and 2-megapixel camera on its face, as well as a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash around back.

Powering the QMobile A1 is 1GB of RAM, a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, and a 1700mAh battery. Also included is 8GB of storage, a microSD slot, FM radio, and an untouched flavor Android 5.1.1. And since its an Android One device, the QMobile A1 will get Android OS updates shortly after they’re released.

The QMobile A1 offers a clean look, and with features like a microSD slot, FM radio, and two cameras, the device looks like another solid entry into Google’s roster of Android One smartphones.
