ZTE Blade S6 Plus now available with limited time discounted price

After launching its Blade S6 earlier this year, ZTE is now offering a Plus version of its new Android smartphone.

The ZTE Blade S6 Plus is now being sold by ZTE on eBay. It’s available in the U.K., France, Italy, Russia, and many other parts of the globe and can be had for the “limited time” discount price of $269.99 USD/£182.99/€252.99. (Regular pricing is $299.99 USD/£199.99/€276.99.) In exchange for your hard-earned dollars, you’ll get a smartphone with the following features:

  • 5.5-inch 1280x720 display
  • Snapdragon 615 processor
  • 13-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX214 sensor
  • 5-megapixel wide-angle front-facing camera
  • 16GB of storage
  • microSD slot
  • 2GB of RAM
  • 3000mAh battery
  • Android 5.0 with ZTE’s custom MiFavor 3.0 UI
  • Dual SIM
  • GSM: 850/900/1800/1900
  • UMTS: 900/2100
  • LTE: Bands 1/3/7/8/20 (2100/1800/2600/900/800)
  • 156.6 x 77 x 7.7mm

There are a couple of differences between the ZTE Blade S6 and the ZTE Blade S6 Plus. As you might’ve guess from its name, the Blade S6 Plus has a larger display than the Blade S6, offering a 5.5-inch screen rather than a 5-incher. The Blade S6 Plus also has a 3000mAh battery that’s slightly beefier than the Blade S6’s 2400mAh juice pack.

With a 5.5-inch display, the Blade S6 Plus is going to appeal to phablet fans but may be a bit too large for folks that prefer a smaller device. If you do like ginormous phones, the Blade S6 Plus seems like a affordable option, offering a bigger display and battery than its non-Plus sibling for just $20 more.
