Good news, HTC One (M7) owners! There’s some Lollipop goodness headed your way!
HTC is now pushing Android 5.0 to the One (M7) Developer Edition (screenshot below left), complete with Sense 6.0 and Lollipop goodies like Material Design-ified notifications and an updated Recent Apps menu. The update bumps the One (M7) Developer Edition to software version 7.17.1540.7, and the update weighs in at 702.52MB.
Meanwhile, the Sprint flavor of the One (M7) is also receiving its Lollipop update (screenshot above right). The Sprint update is similar to the Dev Edition’s, right down to the version number of size.
It’s exciting to see Lollipop begin to hit more devices, and I’m betting that there are several One (M7) owners that are excited to receive the update before most of their One (M8)-toting brethren. If you’ve got a Developer Edition or Sprint One (M7), head into your Settings to see if you’ve got an update waiting for you!
