Use Nokia Z Launcher on your Android device? If so, you may want to hit up Google Play, because a nice update for the launcher is now rolling out.
Nokia Z Launcher is now being updated to version 1.1.1-Beta, a bump that includes “preliminary support” for custom icon packs. That’s a pretty big deal for folks that like to use custom launchers to personalize their phone or tablet, and its nice to see the feature added to Z Launcher.
In addition to icon pack support, Nokia has added a new long press on text feature that’ll let you uninstall or hide an app from your ranked list.
There are a few other tweaks in this update, all of which you can find in the full changelog below:
- Preliminary support for icon packs
- Long press on text - you can uninstall or hide app app from the ranked list, in addition to existing long-press behavior such as long-pressing the icon to drag it to the favorites bar
- UI improvements for a wide range of Android devices
- Improved design and performance of carousel widgets
- Improved Scribble handwriting recognition
- Play store icon will load Play store without pre-searched text (We heard you on this one!)
- Bug fixes
Do you use Nokia Z Launcher? If so, what do you think of it?
