LTE Nexus 9 now available from Google Play too [UPDATED]

If you’re interested in the HTC Nexus 9 with built-in 4G LTE but you’d rather buy a unit from Google than from T-Mobile, well, now you can do just that.

Hours after T-Mobile began sales of the LTE Nexus 9, Google has started selling the device too. The LTE Nexus 9 is $599, and new orders are expected to ship by December 19.

The LTE Nexus 9 comes with 32GB of storage and is only available in black. While there’s no real difference spec-wise between the LTE Nexus 9s being sold by Google and T-Mobile, Google is selling its unit for $0.79 less than T-Mobile. Of course, if you’d rather spread the cost of the device out of several payments instead of making one lump payment, T-Mobile can help you out.

UPDATE: AT&T pinged us to say that the LTE Nexus 9 will work on its 4G LTE network and that it's offering a $100 bill credit to anyone that buys a unit from the Google Play store and then brings it in to an AT&T store to sign a two-year contract.
