Google is handing out Inbox by Gmail invitations to anyone that sends an email to inbox@google.com until 12:00 pm PST/3:00 pm EST. That’s one hour from now, so if you want an invitation, get to composing!
Inbox by Gmail is Google’s new attempt to help you control your email inbox. The service groups your emails into Bundles to help you easily organize messages into groups and uses Highlights to show you important info without having to actually dive into an email. The service also includes Reminders, Assists and Snooze functionality.
Reviews of Inbox by Gmail have been mixed so far, with some users praising its time-saving features, while others prefer to stick to plain ol’ Gmail. Now that anyone can snag an invitation, though, that means that you can form your own opinion of the app!
