Nexus 9, Nexus Player now have 'Add to Cart' buttons in Google Play store

The time has come, Android fans: Google’s new Nexus hardware is launching this week.

The HTC Nexus 9 is now available for purchase from the Google Play store in both black and white and with either 16GB or 32GB of built in storage. Pricing is set at $399 for the 16GB model and $479.99 for the 32GB model, and both are expected to ship in 1-2 business days. Google also plans to sell Nexus 9 models with a sand-colored backside and built-in LTE connectivity, but those units are listed as “coming soon.”

Google will also allow you to add the Android TV-powered Nexus Player to your cart today. Unfortunately, this $99 set-top box won’t ship out for 2-3 weeks.

“What about the Nexus 6?” you ask. Motorola’s new Nexus smartphone is still listed as being out of stock, which it has been ever since it went up for pre-order last week.

It’s exciting to see Google’s new Nexus hardware finally launching, not only because it means that we’re getting some new high-end devices, but also because we get to play with new Android software. Here’s to hoping that Nexus 6 stock gets refilled soon so we can try out Google and Motorola’s phablet too.

Are you ordering a new Nexus device? If so, what are you buying?
