T-Mobile customers may have gotten a little jealous of their Verizon counterparts last week when Sony announced the Xperia Z3v, complete with pricing and a concrete launch date. Don’t fret, my Magenta friends, because today T-Mobile has revealed when your Xperia Z3 will become available as well.
The Sony Xperai Z3 will launch at T-Mobile on October 29 at a price of $0 down and 24 monthly payments of $26.25 each (total price of $630.00). If you absolutely must have Sony’s latest on day one, you can pre-order a Z3 online starting October 15 at 12:00 a.m. PDT. And not only will you guarantee yourself a unit when you do, but T-Mo says that you might even receive the Xperia Z3 before its official launch date.
The T-Mobile Xperia Z3 is similar to the international model in terms of specs. That means that it’s got the following features to offer:
- 5.2-inch 1920x1080 TRILUMINOS display
- 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor
- 20.7-megapixel rear camera with Exmor RS sensor, ISO 3200 in manual mode
- 2.2-megapixel front camera
- 3GB of RAM
- 32GB storage
- microSD slot with support for cards up to 128GB
- 4G LTE connectivity
- IP65 and IP68 rated for resistance to dust and water
- 3100mAh battery
- Android 4.4 KitKat
Sony and T-Mobile have come together to release several devices in the past, including the Xperia Z and Xperia Z1s. That doesn’t mean that it’s not nice to see them teaming up to offer the Xperia Z3 in the US, though, because I’m always happy to see manufacturers making their flagship smartphones available to more consumers.
