Sony Xperia Z3 to be offered with copper duds, leaked image shows

At this point, Sony can’t have much left to surprise us with at its IFA 2015 conference.

Just hours after an Xperia Z3 Compact leak gave us a clear look at the upcoming Sony smartphone in several different colors, some more official-looking images have revealed a new color of the Xperia Z3. The shots show a copper Xperia Z3 that, well, looks like a gold version of the Z3 that we’ve already gotten a peek at.

The gold smartphone seem to be one of the hottest trends in mobile right now, with Apple, Samsung, HTC, LG and more all offering golden versions of the flagship handsets. It’s no surprise to see Sony joining in on the action as well, and it’s good to see the company breaking out of the purple, white and black color scheme that it’s stuck with for a while now.

Also shown in this batch of leaked photos is the SmartBand Talk. A previous leak described this new wearable as a fitness tracker with Bluetooth connectivity and a curved e-ink display.
