After appearing in several leaks earlier in July, today the LG G Vista has been totally revealed as it begins to make its way into Verizon stores.
New images of the LG G Vista and its packaging in the wild have leaked out. The back of the G Vista’s box also show most of the device’s specs:
- 5.7-inch 1280x720 IPS display
- 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor
- 8-megapixel rear camera with Laser Auto Focus
- 8GB storage (3.76GB available to the user)
- microSD slot with support ford cards up to 64GB
- 1.5GB of RAM
- 3200mAh battery
- 4G LTE connectivity
- Android 4.4 KitKat
While the LG G Vista shares many design features with its flagship LG G3 sibling — including its rear-mounted buttons — the G Vista is more of a mid-range offering with its 720p screen and Snapdragon 400 chip. With its rumored $99 on-contract and $499 off-contract pricing, though, at least LG and Verizon could end up pricing it accordingly and giving consumers a big red phablet at an affordable price.
The G Vista is expected to officially launch at Verizon this Thursday, July 31, so stay tuned for more details on this Big Red phablet as I get ‘em.
