iPhone 6 battery and camera details reportedly leak

Over the past few weeks, we’ve gotten peeks at what may be the front and rear panels of Apple’s iPhone 6, which is expected to make an official debut in September. Today the iPhone 6 leaks continue with rumors regarding two other components.

First up, an image of what’s said to be the 4.7-inch iPhone 6’s battery has surfaced. The battery is listed as being manufactured in July 2014 and has an 1810mAh capacity. To compare, the iPhone 5s’s battery is 1560mAh.

The second half of today’s iPhone 6 report focuses on the device’s camera. A rumor posted to Sony-centric Chinese forum Digi-Wo claims that Apple’s next iPhone will utilize a Sony Exmor IMX220 sensor of the 1/2.3”, 13-megapixel variety.

So will these rumors turn out to be the real deal? There’s no way of knowing for sure right now, but it seems likely that Apple would bump up the battery capacity of its next iPhone, especially if it launches a bigger model like it’s expected to.

As for the camera, Apple has used different versions of the same Sony sensor in the past three versions of the iPhone, so it’s certainly possible that the Cupertino firm could decide that an all new, larger model may warrant an all new camera sensor as well.

What’s the one feature that you hope to see included in the next iPhone?
