Samsung Galaxy F poses for new photo, looks familiar

We've been hearing a lot recently of a purported "premium" model Samsung Galaxy smartphone. Today, we have further evidence that such a device could be on its way. Albeit with a very familiar design. GSMArena has leaked an image showing what it claims is a real picture of the upcoming phone. One thing that's immediately clear is the metal frame running around the edges.

The frame itself certainly looks a lot like the one found on the iPhone 5/5s. It has the same chamfered edges, a similar thickness and flatness. But for those of you worrying that this could mean a unibody design, fear not. The site's sources claim that the phone still has a plastic, removable battery cover. Despite the more premium material used in the chassis, you should still be able to swap out batteries when you need to.

Other rumored specifications include a Snapdragon 805 series quad-core processor, 3GB or RAM and a Quad HD display (similar to that on the LG G3). We're not certain when the device is going to land on U.S. soil, or when it's going to be announce. But with final-looking designs appearing online, we suspect it could be relatively soon.
