Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 now available from U.S. Cellular, 4G LTE in tow

Looks like AT&T isn’t the only U.S. carrier that’s adding the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 to its shelves.

U.S. Cellular today announced that it’s now selling the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 in its stores. USCC is offering both the black and white versions of the Tab 4 10.1 for $0 down and then 24 monthly installment payments. In exchange for your hard-earned pieces of paper, you’ll be getting a tablet with the following specs:

  • 10.1-inch 1280x800 display
  • 1.2GHz quad-core processor
  • 3-megapixel rear, 1.3-megapixel front cameras
  • 16GB storage
  • microSD slot with support for cards up to 64GB in size
  • 1.5GB of RAM
  • Android 4.4 KitKat
  • 4G LTE connectivity

The rest of U.S. Cellular’s connected tablet lineup is made up of iPads and the aging Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, so it’s good to see USCC adding another Android-powered slate to its lineup. And for those of you that are considering picking up this Tab 4 10.1, it’s worth pointing out that U.S. Cellular’s LTE network currently covers 90 percent of its customer base, with plans to increase that to 93 percent by the end of 2014.

U.S. Cellular’s full announcement of the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 can be found right here. If you’d like to get one of your very own, you can mosey on down to your friendly neighborhood U.S. Cellular store and do just that.
