HTC teases 'All New HTC One' in BoomSound video

HTC may not have brought its follow-up to the flagship One to MWC 2014, but that doesn't mean that this week will be completely devoid of news regarding the company's next major smartphone.

HTC today posted a video to its official YouTube channel that focuses on its front-facing BoomSound technology. The first half of the clip details the speakers found on the HTC One that debuted last year, but at around the 1:03 mark, one of the characters in the video pulls an "all new HTC One" out of his pocket. Unfortunately, the new device is pixelated, meaning that we don't actually get to see any of the new One. The characters' voices and mouths are also censored when discussing the upcoming handset.

There's not really any new information revealed about the HTC One successor in this clip, but hey, teasers rarely offer any concrete details about whatever it is that they're teasing. Instead, it's meant to build hype for the upcoming device, which is rumored to be codenamed "HTC M8" and may hit the market as the "All New HTC One."

HTC has scheduled an event for March 25 at which it's expected to show off its new flagship phone. That may seem far off right now, but the good news is that HTC's new video teaser is titled "HTC Technical Translations #1: BoomSound," which suggests that we'll get some more clips in the coming weeks to keep us entertained while we wait for March 25 to roll around.
