OnePlus says One flagship will feature best design and specs, special CyanogenMod experience

OnePlus teased earlier this month that it will be teaming up with Cyanogen Inc. on its upcoming flagship smartphone, the OnePlus One, and today the company continued to build hype for its new device.

Over in its official forums, OnePlus has posted a number of images that are meant to tease the features of its One smartphone. OnePlus says that its upcoming Android handset is "more attractive than just about any phone on the market" and that it'll include "only the best components and 2014 flagship specs." Most of those specs are still a mystery for now, but OnePlus does say that its One will include support for LTE bands 1, 3, 4, 7, 17, 38, 39, 40 and 41.

We also know that the OnePlus One will come preloaded with a special version of CyanogenMod. OnePlus teases that the ROM found on its One smartphone will be "a departure from the familiar CyanogenMod" that will include "new, specially customized features and new exciting elements." Just as with the One hardware, though, OnePlus isn't ready to divulge exactly what will make its software so special.

Because OnePlus is a new company out to prove that it can make a name for itself in the wireless industry, it's no surprise to see it working to build hype for its first smartphone by claiming that it'll feature the best design and specs around. Now we just have to wait for the OnePlus One to actually launch to find out how many of OnePlus's claims hold true. The good news is that that wait won't be too long, because OnePlus says that its One smartphone will be released internationally in the second half of 2014.

When OnePlus says that its device has "2014 flagship specs," what features come to mind?
