Moto G announcement officially set for Nov. 13, teaser page live now

Looks like three leaks in the span of just a week was enough to get Motorola to come clean about the mysterious Moto G. The company just sent out a tweet saying that it's "Time to say hola, olá, g'day, hallo, bonjour, namaste, hello to #MotoG" along with a link to the previously-leaked-but-now-active Moto G website. The page includes the same animation used during the Moto X's boot-up sequence as well as a teaser for a live online announcement that's scheduled to go down on Nov. 13.

There's no indication in Motorola's tweet or teaser about exactly what the Moto G is, but as is usually the case with unannounced smartphone hardware, the rumor mill has already shared some possible spec details. The device is expected to be a low-cost version of the Moto X that features a quad-core processor, 8GB storage and a design that doesn't stray far from the X. Pricing could get as low as free on contract, which could make the Moto G a pretty compelling option for consumers on the hunt for a new Android phone that won't leave a huge dent in their wallet.

We've only got a week and a half to wait before Motorola takes to the web and makes its new "Moto" family member official. That may seem like a long time to wait, but hey, at least Motorola was kind enough to provide some entertainment in the form of that entrancing spinning globe on the Moto G's teaser page.
