Moto G purportedly shows its face again in leaked promo material

You know the saying "When it rains, it pours?" That's apparently the case with the Moto G, as the unannounced handset has just leaked out for the third time this week. Following an appearance on Motorola's own website and then in a leaked image, the folks over at GSMArena have shared what is purportedly a promotional card that's destined for a Phones 4u retail store. The flyer shows a black handset that looks similar to the one that appeared in yesterday's leaked image, as well as a full list of specs that isn't quite as similar.

According to this leaked document, the Moto G sports a 4.5-inch 720p display, which is slightly smaller than the 4.7 incher that the previous leak claimed it would have. The 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera lines up, but this new image lists the G as sporting a 5-megapixel shooter on its rear, whereas yesterday's report claimed that there would be an 8-megapixel camera in that spot. Finally, today's leak suggests that the Moto G will come equipped with a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, while the previous leak alleged that the G's processor would be clocked at 1.5GHz.

Rounding out the Moto G's rumored spec list, we're told to expect 8GB or 16GB of built-in storage, HSPA+ connectivity and a 1950mAh battery. The phone will reportedly come with Android 4.3 preinstalled and could be offered for free on contract.

Motorola hasn't made any official announcements regarding the Moto G. The only tidbit that we've got to go on is a hint from Motorola CEO Dennis Woodside, who teased earlier this year that his company's got a low-cost version of the Moto X in the works.

While these two Moto G leaks appear to be conflicting in a few of their spec details, both models are certainly lower-specced than the Moto X and either could fit in the Motorola family as a more affordable version of that device. We'll have to wait until the Moto G hits shelves before we its official spec sheet, but the good news is that with the whole holiday theme of this leaked flyer, a launch may not be far off.
