AT&T 4G LTE rolls out to more than 10 new cities, expands in others

Lately it seems that AT&T has been settling into a pattern of lighting up new 4G LTE coverage every week or so. Today that trend continues, as the big blue operator has handed out another batch of piping hot LTE service to several cities across the country. Here's the list of markets that've been announced so far today:

New markets

  • Selma, Ala.
  • Sebastian and Vero Beach, Fla.
  • Dublin, Ga.
  • Cordele, Ga.
  • Lake Charles, La.
  • Mt. Pleasant, Mich.
  • Brookhaven and McComb, Miss.
  • Natchez, Miss. (includes Vidalia)
  • Picayune, Miss.
  • Brenham, Texas
  • Port Angeles, Wash.

Expanded markets

  • Putnam and Greene counties, Ga. (includes Northern Putnam County and portions of central and south Greene County)
  • Wright and Carver counties, Minn. (includes the cities of Annandale, Buffalo and Delano in Wright County and Waconia and Young America in Carver County)

AT&T recently activated its 400 LTE market, and it looks like the carrier is keeping its rollout going strong by hitting smaller towns and expanding its existing coverage at the same time. AT&T has said that it expects its LTE network to be "substantially complete" by the summer of 2014.
