Remember that Samsung-made Android flip phone that leaked out earlier this month? Apparently that's not the only Android clamshell that Samsung's got cooking, as some new press images of a device referred to as the Hennessey SCH-W789 have made their way online today.
Posted by SammyHub, the renders show a flip phone with a large display and a trio of Android navigation keys on its face, as well as a second display and a set of physical navigation buttons and a keypad on the inside of the unit. Both displays show the same custom TouchWiz UI that we've grown accustomed to.
Speaking of displays, the Hennessey SCH-W789 is said to be sporting a pair of 3.27-inch 480x320 screens, a 5-megapixel shooter on its backside and a microSD card slot for storing photos and other goodies. There's rumored to be a quad-core 1.2GHz processor (possibly of the Snapdragon 200 variety) buried inside the phone, along with 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The Hennessey is rumored to be launching soon on China Telecom with Android 4.1 and support for both CDMA and GSM connectivity.
Samsung has made several Android-powered flip phones in the past, so it's no surprise to hear that the company may have a new model or two coming down the pipeline. We haven't really ever seen any of these unique devices make their way stateside, though, and it seems unlikely that that'll change any time soon.
