Motorola has released a number of devices on Verizon in recent years, including the original DROID and the DROID RAZR HD, and now it looks like the two companies may be teaming up on a couple more pieces of hardware. Two Motorola handsets with the model numbers XT1030 and XT1080 recently passed through the FCC, complete with CDMA, GSM and WCDMA connectivity. There's also support for LTE bands 4 and 13 included, which just so happen to be Verizon's preferred flavors of 4G.
There's nothing included in the FCC filings that say "Hey, these phones are going to Verizon!," but the inclusion of support for CDMA and LTE bands 4 and 13 suggest that these Motorola phones are indeed on a journey that'll take them to Verizon's big red shelves. Of course, we still don't know exactly which Moto phones the XT1030 and XT1080 are, but it's possible that the recently-leaked DROID ULTRA is one of the handsets hiding under these mountains of regulatory filings. Stay tuned and I'll update you once we get more information on the identities of these mysterious Motorola machines.
