Nearly a month after the Nexus 4's wireless charger entered the Google Play Store, a special accessory for the Nexus 7 tablet has hit the shop's virtual shelves. Google today began selling the Nexus 7 dock in the Play Store, with pricing set at $29.99 for a stand that features both a micro-USB port for charging and a 3.5mm jack for piping audio out to a set of speakers. New orders of the Nexus 7 dock are expected to ship out in one to two weeks.
Like the Nexus 4 wireless charger before it, there's not a lot to say about this straightforward Nexus 7 accessory. It's angled to make it easy to view and use the Nexus 7 while it's resting in the cradle, and it looks like a nice accessory that Nexus 7 owners could place on a desk or nightstand for some easy charging or music playback.
